WHAT IS GOLD FILL?

--Gold fill is a great alternative to solid gold jewelry. It is a pressure bonded layering of gold, usually over some base metal like brass or something sterling silver. It has more gold than plated and does not tarnish as easily. These characteristics make it a beautiful, durable, and economical alternative to solid gold, that will last years if cared for properly.

WHAT IS GOLD PLATED?

--Gold plating is a process where a thin layer of gold is bonded onto a base metal. The base metal is usually a copper or silver. Gold plating can fade and tarnish over time, losing its initial luster and brightness. However, if cared for properly can last for a while. 

WHY DOES MY PEARL OR CRYSTAL NOT LOOK LIKE THE PICTURE?

--Pearls, crystals, & stones are natural entities; therefore no two pieces are exactly the same.

WHY IS MY JEWELRY TARNISHING?

--All metals will tarnish with wear. The best way to avoid tarnishing is to not wear your jewelry in the shower or while working out, and keep it away from chemicals. It is the customer’s responsibility to clean their own jewelry. It is easy to remove light stains, tarnishing and fingerprints with a little bit of care.
